Evelyn Pool (attending)
Vice President, Silenus Winery
About
Silenus Winery has been growing grapes for fifty years in what is now known as the Napa Valley sub appellation of Oak Knoll District. The winery name changed in 2008 to Silenus, named for the mentor and companion of Dionysus, the Greek god of wine. Scott Meadows has guided the winery for over twenty years. Over time a modern barrel aging cellar and a beautiful tasting room have been added. Silenus has four wines to offer from the Oak Knoll District, as well as Tyros, the Napa Valley Cabernet produced at the winery. The Tyros label shows Dionysus, God of Wine, enjoying a glass of Cab!
