Merlot 2018

Our 2018 Oak Knoll District Merlot is a rich purple color. Bright aromas of black cherry, blackberry jam and oak grace the nose. The mouth of this wine is full bodied and nicely balanced between flavors of boysenberries, plums and mocha all while maintaining soft and delicate tannins. The finish is very long and silky with reverberating flavors of black cherry and toasted vanilla. This is an enjoyable wine to drink on its own but is also extremely food friendly served alongside an herb crusted rack of lamb or traditional style ratatouille.
