Taub Family Vyds Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

From a 4-acre block of the Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III. Vines average 25 years, of clones 4, 337 & 7 on bale, clay loam with gravel soils. This vineyard imparts opulence, intensity, structure, complexity. Grapes are hand sorted, fully destemmed. Both native and select Bordeaux yeasts used small, closed fermenters. Malolactic fermentation in barrel, with 24 months in 100% new French Oak. Deep garnet color with complex aromas of black cherry, vanilla, sage, blueberry, and roasted notes. Dark fruit on a harmonious palate, with layers of silky tannins create a seamless, age-worthy wine.
